HP EliteBook 840 G5 Parts

Replacement parts for the HP EliteBook 840 G5, in stock in Dhaka: 2 keyboards (Tk 630–Tk 1,400), 1 battery (Tk 2,500) and 1 display cable (Tk 700). Every part below is listed against this exact model, so you are not guessing whether it fits.

Choosing the right part for your HP EliteBook 840 G5

• Backlit or non-backlit. This model shipped both ways and the two are not interchangeable — the backlit version needs a connector the non-backlit board does not have. Look at your keyboard in the dark, or check whether the F5 or F11 key carries a backlight icon, before choosing.
• Pointing stick. Some units of this model have the little pointing stick between G, H and B and some do not. The two keyboards are physically different; order the one that matches yours.
• Check the part number on the old battery. Order by that code, not by laptop model — many machines shipped with two different battery types. For this model that code is usually SS03XL.
• Display panels and cables. Check the connector pin count (30-pin or 40-pin) and the resolution printed on the label behind your current panel — the same model was sold with more than one panel type.

Not sure which model you have?

Turn the laptop over. The service label on the base carries the full model name and the product number — that is the line to send us, not the marketing name on the lid. On most machines you can also press Fn + Esc, or open Command Prompt and run wmic csproduct get name. Send us that line on WhatsApp and we will confirm the correct part before you pay.
