How to choose the right one
- Buy by part number, not by laptop model. The code printed on the old battery (for example SS03XL, A1322, L19M3PD5) is what guarantees a fit. One laptop model often shipped with two different battery types.
- Check the voltage. Voltage must match the original exactly. Capacity (Wh / mAh) can be equal or higher — a higher-capacity cell simply runs longer.
- Internal or external. Older models have a clip-out battery; most laptops after 2016 have an internal one that needs the back cover opened. We can fit it for you.
- Swollen battery is urgent. If the case is bulging or the trackpad has lifted, stop using the laptop and replace it — a swollen cell can damage the board and is a fire risk.
